FAQ- General questions & construction information

How long will I wait until I get my suit?

I try to make sure my commissioners have to wait no longer than a year to receive their items at maximum once they've paid me. However, most commissions are typically completed in anywhere from 1 to 6 months. Smaller orders such as partials, mini partials or heads will of course be completed faster than full fursuits. The same is true for suits with a more simple design and or color scheme.
I'm under 18. Can I order a fursuit?

Yes, but direct consent from a parent or guardian will be necessary. Please allow me to have contact with them so we can establish the details of how I will handle your commission. If you are using paypal, please have the funds sent from an account in the parent or guardians name as it is not legal for a minor to own a paypal account.

If you are a younger teenager I would suggest buying a partial fursuit as you will likely outgrow a bodysuit made now with time and no longer be able to wear it.

Will you make [insert species here] or ship to [insert country here]?

1. I'll try my best! However, if I feel I may struggle to make the facial features of a certain species look "correct," I may opt to buy a head base from another maker instead of constructing it myself. Proper credit will of course be given.

2. I will ship internationally, though when it comes to shipping, the buyer must cover the shipping costs regardless of where they live.

Why is [insert item] so expensive?

For a few reasons, Primarily because faux fur fabric is very pricey, especially in large quantities. The combination of luxury shag and other supplies needed for a a head alone can cost anywhere between 150-200$, generally speaking. Perhaps more. I try not to overcharge my clients and use fair pricing that, I believe, matches my current skill level, but I have to be mindful to things such as the amount of money I am dedicating to material costs so I can ensure I'm not undercharging to the degree that my labor is not being compensated.
Can I clean your fursuits?
All suits should be able to be hand-washed. Body suits [after the padding has been removed] and arm sleeves may be machine washable in some cases. Ask me. Please avoid wetting the eye area. Do not machine wash the head or tail.
[note: Suits should be air dried [preferably with a fan or two], instead of being put into a drier, as this can cause heat damage.

Do you do fursuit refurbishment?
No, I do not. Primarily because I find the process of deconstructing a suit and then fixing it stressful, and I would not be able to guarantee the right amount of quality for the price.

Do you do airbrushing?
I do not currently do airbrushing.

Are you willing to try things like LED inserts?
Not at this time

Can I get a head or partial and buy a body suit later?

Yes, but you must be able to give me enough money to buy the fabrics necessary for the body suit so that they can be put into storage for later use as the colors of different furs will often vary slightly between runs over time or the shag you need may become permanently unavailable.
